William “Bud” Higgins, of Montrose, CO has passed away peacefully in his home on April 19, 2018, at the age of 49. Bud took pride in being a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his parents Linda and Mike Paul; sisters, Vicky and husband Brett Ubell; Charlotte and husband Rick Ruiz; Misty Paul; Monique and husband Vern Ricketts; Nephews, Brandon; Nathan; Brett; Zack; Nieces, Jessica; Becca; Alex; Michala; Tavana.
Bud was born in Cortez, CO on March 14, 1969 and graduated from Montrose High School in 1988. Bud enjoyed the outdoors and was a movie enthusiast. Bud was a prominent member of the community and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel, services will conclude there. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory. (970)249-2121
