It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vicki Griggs, 67, of Montrose, Colorado, on Saturday, August 1. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her.

Vicki was born on January 9, 1959, in Denver, Colorado, to Harold and Roberta Moore. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1979.

Vicki was the proud mother of three wonderful daughters, JoiLyn, Heidi, and Megan, whom she loved with all her heart. On October 7, 1991, she married the love of her life, Alberto Griggs. They would have celebrated 35 years of marriage this year.

Vicki dedicated her life to caring for her family. She had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a love that touched everyone who knew her. To know her was to love her. She cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Roberta Moore, and her sisters, Wendy, Cheryl, and Laurie.

Vicki is survived by her devoted husband, Alberto Griggs; her daughters, JoiLyn, Heidi, and Megan; her four grandchildren, Keanalynn, Harley, Hunter, and Kaydence; and her seven great-grandchildren, O'Ryan, Ielias, Anaek, Rain, Izaiah, Aalia, and Ezra.

A celebration of Vicki's life will be held at a later date. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
