Vernon Floyd Hudson

To provide for his family, Vernon drove the school bus, milked cows to sell whole milk and cream, custom stacked hay and was the rural mail carrier. Prior to his marriage, Vernon served in the Marines as a truck mechanic and driver. Vernon is survived by his children Merilyn (Scott) Nicolas, Brad (Stephanie) Hudson and Carolyn (Gary) Lindstrom, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Georgine, his parents, and his siblings Melvin, Marvin, and Marguerite. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow on June 18th, 2022, at the Vernon and Georgine Hudson Ranch, 4212 C.R. 23, Ridgway, Colorado. Vernon’s family appreciates the loving care given to him by the team at Hope West Hospice.
