Tyler Gregory Smith

Tyler Gregory Smith was tragically killed on Hwy 550 on August 6, 2025. He was a big man with an even bigger heart. He exemplified the saying we are shaped and fashioned by those we love. He loved freely and was loved by many in return. Being kind and considerate was a primary component of his character.

He was well-known in the community as DJ Tymus with his ownership of Lone Wolf karaoke & entertainment. He not only provided the music for many activities but as a fabulous singer, enthusiastically led the way. His contagious laugh added to every situation he was in.

There is no doubt that he will be joyfully singing with the angels for God’s glory.

Tyler had a very large extended family. He was survived by his parents Norman and AJ Smith and his eight siblings: Alissa (Mike, Hannah, Megan, Kaitlyn) Branson; Rachel (Steve Caulk, Soren, Olivia) Zenzinger; Derek (Liam, Kamala, Kristi) Smith; Jeremiah (Karen) Smith; Bart (Joseph, Jacob) Palmer; Jeremy Smith; Jerusha (Elliott, Calvin, Skylar) Siegel; Angelica (Riley) Smith; grandmother Betty Kuta.

Preceding his death was mom Yvonne Kuta, grandparents Charlene and Ivan Smith, Ernie Kuta; godparent Patrick Kuta and Aunt Pam Kuta.

There were numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends considered family that will sorely miss him.

Voltaire stated, “God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well.” Tyler’s joy, compassion, kindness and love showed he did indeed live well.
