Phoebe Kirk has been a resident of Montrose, Colorado since 1992. She is pre-deceased by her husband Robert E. Kirk in 2018. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas and eventually resided in the Fort Worth, Texas area where she worked as an Office Administrator for the railroad and various construction companies all while raising “four” children.
She is survived by her loving son Dwayne Allbritton and his wife Anita Allbritton of Delta, Co., a daughter Lana Driggers of Montrose, Co., a daughter Mickie Holcomb of Weatherford, Texas, grandson Brett Allbritton of Crawford, Co., Kristopher Driggers of Montrose, Co., Larry Jr., Bubba, and Carrie of Weatherford, Texas, Wesley Jr. and Crystal from the Cleburne, Texas area. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She outlived her brother Wayne Miller of Grand Prairie, Texas.
Phoebe Kirk was wholly devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was fully committed to carry out her earthly mission to share the unconditional “love”, mercy, and saving grace of our Lord. Her favorite Bible verse among many was Romans 8:18; “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Grand View Cemetery.
