Obituary

Kent Struble, 63, of Montrose, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. 

Kent was born on September 21, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, to Donald and Lee Struble. He spent his childhood in Lakewood, Colorado, and graduated from Bear Creek High School. He later attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. 

Kent built a successful career in hydraulics and pneumatics and was the owner of Struble Fluid Power in Denver, Colorado. He was known for his strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to serving his customers and colleagues. 

On June 10, 2013, Kent married the love of his life, Barbara Struble, in Jackson, Wyoming. Together they shared many happy years and made their home in Ken Caryl, Salida, and lastly, Montrose. Kent was a devoted husband, son and brother. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Struble of Montrose; his father, Donald Struble; his mother, Lee Struble; and sister, Kari Struble. He also leaves behind many friends, extended family members, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Kent was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, in Poncha Springs. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, skiing, and rescuing Labrador Retrievers. He found great joy in the outdoors, working with his hands, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew him will remember his love of German food and his sense of humor. 

Kent will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, determination, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those around him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Poncha Springs, Colorado, with Pastor Mike McClellan officiating.
