Jimmie Joe Dixon, 82, USN retired, passed away peacefully February 8, 2015 at the San Juan Living Center, Montrose, Co.  Jimmie was born June 19, 1932 is Centerville, Iowa to Frank and Gwelda  Helme Dixon.  They precede him in death.

He is survived by his cousin, Shannon Shore Howell and her family, Overland Park, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place.  At Jimmie’s request, no services will be held.  Friends will gather at a later date to remember his life.  Crippin Funeral Home, Montrose, Colorado is assisting the family.
