Garry Howard Dagley was born in Montrose, Colorado on February 11, 1957. He passed away October 28, 2024, at his home in Montrose, Colorado. He was raised in Montrose, along with his two older brothers and younger sister. The family enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, gathering wood in the mountains, and going to drive-in movies. Garry attended Montrose High School. He joined the United States Air Force and was proud to serve his country. He married Susan M. (Evans) Dagley, and they were blessed with a daughter, Brena Dene Dagley. He was later blessed with two more daughters, Jessie Lynn Super and Julia Marie Super, with his longtime partner Sheryl. He worked in construction and truck driving after obtaining his CDL. Later in life he cared for the disabled. For a time, he was the proud owner of a 1963 Mercury Marauder and always enjoyed working on his cars. He enjoyed many activities with his children, attending their school and extracurricular events, and family birthday and holiday celebrations. The family enjoyed trips to the mountains, camping, fishing, and hot springs. Later in his life he enjoyed visiting with his daughter and grandchildren in Florida. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife Susan M. (Evans) Dagley (1984), his aunt Mary (Rackley) Dagley (1995), his grandson Tristan Anthony Powell (2002), his paternal grandmother Lillian Ethel Valentine Dagley Hallbrook (2006), his mother Bessie Marie (Lewis) Dagley (2006), his sister Janet Lynn (Dagley) Barr (2011), his sister in law Linda Lee (Hobbs) Dagley, (2014) his father Norman Lee Dagley, (2018), his uncle Franklin Gerald Dagley (2020), his best friend Wayne A. Gatschet (2022), and his aunt Irais (Dagley) Barrett (2024). He is survived by his brothers John W. Dagley and Ron C. (Shani) Dagley, his daughters Brena Dene (Seth) Dagley Powell, Jessie Lynn Super and Julia Marie (Enrique) Super, his grandson Treven Isaiah Powell, his granddaughter Trinity Belle Powell, his niece Tammy Shawn (Ethan) Dagley Fast, his nephew Boone Dagley, his nephew Thomas (Haiden) Barr, his niece Elizabeth Barr, his uncle Charles Barrett, and many cousins.
