Curtis John Marble

Curtis John Marble was born August 23, 1961 in Logan, Utah. He passed away at his home in Redvale, Colorado on August 4, 2024, with so much love around him after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was preceded in death by his father O’leen Marble, his son John Marble, his sister Jan Marriott, and his granddaughter Lacey Steele, as well as many other loved ones. He is survived by his beloved companion of many years Kass Overbay, his mother Margo Wagstaff, his siblings Michael Wagstaff, Emily Een, Brian Wagstaff, Elaine Duree, and Joy Keller, his children Ivan Lovendahl, Christy Parker, Becky Steele, James Summarell, and Alta Marble, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Curtis grew up in West Bountiful, Utah as part of a large loving family. He was a hard-working man who did it all in his life. He ran a farm in Stone, Idaho for a time where his family grew. After a while he moved to Perry, Utah where he worked an orchard and worked at Thiokol building rocket motors. When Curtis moved to Colorado, he worked maintenance at Telluride Lodge for twenty-one years, where his family grew to include the population of the lodge who will forever remember him, and his dog Emma walking the grounds. It’s hard to know where to start to tell you who Curtis was. He was so much to so many people. A father, a brother, a son, a lover, a husband. He was more than any one thing. He had the biggest heart anyone could ever have. He was a man of many hats and was always willing to help. He loved a good plan, no matter who's it was. He was ready to jump in on any dream we had (even if many of them never made it off the ground). He was a great man who meant so much to so many people. He will always be remembered deeply and with love. 

Celebration of Life will be held on August 24th, 2024, at 11am at the Redvale Community Center in Redvale Colorado.
