On the morning of July 21, 2026 our beloved Mother and Nana, Christobell Summerlin, passed away peacefully at her Montrose , Colorado home at the age of 82.

“Bell” was born on September 3,1943 to Nettie Bell Horrell in Spring Hope , North Carolina. She lived most of her life in North Carolina until moving to Colorado in 2009 to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. While her primary role was homemaker and mother, she also took great pride in the work she did as a supervisor for an adult group home. She was wise and beautiful and genuinely cared for others. She most enjoyed time with family and friends. The beach was her favorite but she did love the mountains in the fall. She was the best Nana to her grandchildren. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle and Christol; 2 stepdaughters Lee and Sherry; Son in law Richard; Grandchildren Collin, Emma, Lilly , Amanda, Faron and Britney.

While we know she is in Heaven, she will forever be missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
