Charla Marie Arbuckle (née Good), 77, passed away on May 4, 2026.

She was born on July 4, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Charles and Berniece Good. She grew up in Dallas, graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1966, and later attended Texas Woman’s University.

In her early adulthood, Charla’s life carried her through Arizona and California, years marked by movement, independence, and change. She later married and made her way to Washington, where she began the work of building her family life. In time, she settled in Montrose, Colorado, joining her brother, Charles Stewart Good, and establishing a lasting home there.

Charla was a devoted mother to her daughter, Megan Kittell (née Arbuckle), and a proud grandmother to Lillian, Robin, and Winston Kittell. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Brian Kittell.

Known for her quiet diligence and careful attention to detail, Charla spent many years working as a typist and administrative assistant. Her work at Montrose Memorial Hospital and later at Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C. reflected a steady professionalism that carried her through to retirement.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, independence, and self-sufficiency, and for the deep, enduring love she held for her family. Though private in nature, her presence was lasting, and her memory will remain woven into the lives of those who knew her.

Honoring her wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
