Cedelia M. Jiminez

Cedelia M. Jiminez, 93 years old, of Montrose, Co went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2025. Cedelia was surrounded by faith and her loving family.

Cedelia was born on November 19, 1931, in Canjilon, New Mexico to Joseph Raynaldo Morales and Maria Inez Maestas. Cedelia moved to Montrose, Colorado with her family at a very young age.

Most of her life was spent being a mother of two beautiful girls, Juanita Maria and Paula Ann. Cedelia was a hard-working, independent, single mother who raised her two girls all on her own. Cedelia was known for her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and her endearing kindness. Cedelia was a woman of deep faith with a heart of gold. Cedelia always made others feel at ease, lighting up their lives with her beautiful smile and faith in Jesus Christ.

Cedelia is survived by her two daughters Juanita (Mike) Olivieri and Paula (Ron) Garechana. Five grandchildren John (Tiffany) Mora, Ray (Veronica) Mora, Derek Kirkland, Raquel (Shawn) McMillan, Davina (Andy) Mull, and fifteen great grandchildren Amaris, Arayah, Alonzo, Sienna, Trinity, Scarlett, Joaquin, Charlie, Ashlyn, Madison, Ezra, Olivia, Bailey, Wyatt and Capri.

Her family will forever hold her close in their hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Catholic Church in Montrose, Co. We invite all who knew her to join us in celebrating a life filled with love and faith.
