Cathy passed away on December 11, 2025, with her love in everyone’s heart. She lived a wonderful 80 years. Her passing marks the end of a life lived with love, compassion, caring, laughter, and support. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Albert and Rita Pfifer of Delta, Colorado. Also, by her sister, Rosemary of Tennessee.

She was the oldest sister of 6 siblings – Al, Marilyn, Rosemary, Jeannette, and Carl. She was an amazing mother and cheerleader to her 3 children – Randy (Elaine), Scott (Heather), and Traci (Dan). Cathy was also a loving grandmother of eight – Kelsie, Sydney, Ryon, Aidan, Ayla, Nathan, Tanner, and Brady.

Cathy enjoyed caring for people, often putting others’ needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed working in the yard and garden, especially her roses. There was never an event missed or a voice louder than hers in support of her children as they grew up. So many wonderful memories of her cooking, family events, games, laughter, and hugs so tightly you could hardly breathe.

Cathy will be laid to rest in the Spring of 2026
