Alfred Bailey Collins

Alfred Bailey Collins, son of Everett and Stella Collins, has passed into God’s hands.  Bailey, as he preferred to be called, enjoyed the outdoors and raising Romagnola cattle and American Quarter horses.  Bailey is predeceased by his wife, Terri; and his two sisters, Lila and Darlene.  Bailey is survived by his two sons, Andrew and Bobby; his twin sister, Bernice; his brother, Boyd; and his many, many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Bailey requested that there be no funeral services, but rather preferred that his ashes be spread in one of his favorite spots:  next to his beloved wife, Terri.  Ashes will be spread privately by his two sons.

Bailey and Terri picked out a poem, an excerpt from Life Struggles by HR, for his final journey:

My virtues are few, my vices are many

But I guess it’s hard to find those without any,

To seek to be patient, forbearing and true,

Just put up with me and I’ll put up with you.

One thing is my comfort, the God of all grace

Is watching here as I run in this race.

He knows all about me and sees every fall

And loves me so dearly in spite of it all.
