Larene Phyllis (DeJulio) Traver

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Larene P. Traver, age 71, died Saturday morning, April 23, 2011, at Kolob Care Nursing Home in St. George, Utah. Larene (DeJulio) Traver, daughter of Felix and Angelina (Dicamillo) DeJulio was born on Dec. 23, 1939, on Dallas Divide. As a young girl, the family moved to Montrose where she received her education. After graduation, she moved to Denver where she met her husband, Dommick Lucci. They had two wonderful boys, Jonas cord Lucci and Joshua Frank Lucci. They were divorced in 1963. In 1969, she married Mert Traver. They lived in Phoenix, Ariz., Montrose, Colo. and Mesquite, Nev., until their deaths. Above all things, Larene loved her two boys, her family and her two dogs, Tina and Tony.
Larene is survived by two sons, Jonas (Stephanie) Lucci and Joshua Lucci. She is also survived by three sisters and three brothers, Wilma (Bill) Thomas of Mesquite, Nev., Eileen (Bruce) Minnick of Valdosta, Ga., Judy (Bernie) Espinoza of Craig, Colo., Harry (Dorothy) DeJulio, Larry DeJulio and Robert (Darlene) DeJulio, all of Montrose, Colo. Larene was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Angelina; her husband, Mert Traver; and two brothers, Felix DeJulio Jr., and Frank DeJulio. Larene was cremated in Mesquite, Nev. Her ashes will be spread by her family on Dallas Divide at a later date.
