Wilma Francis Jutten Flowers
March 13, 1921 – July 16, 2011
Wilma Flowers, 90, a resident of Montrose, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Montrose Memorial Hospital. Wilma was born and lived her entire life in the Uncompahgre Valley. She received her teaching degree at Western State College, Gunnison, and taught in the Montrose County school system until her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed an active retirement painting, reading, travelling, and caring for her plants. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy R. Flowers. She is survived by her children Janelle Fintland and her husband Robert of London, England and Guy Flowers Jr. and his wife Tressa of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren Kathryn Fintland, Kevin Fintland, Brian Fintland, Shannon Flowers and Beau Flowers; and great grandchildren Robert Paul Fintland and Tyler Flowers.
