Lisa Lyn Curtis, age 35 passed away Friday July 20, 2012 unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital in Phoenix Arizona..

Lisa and her twin sister Lawna were born in Montrose, Co to Maurie and Debby (Frigetto) Curtis on April 13, 1977. She attended school in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High School, and then attended Western State College in Gunnison.  Lisa lived in Arizona for a short time but Colorado was always her home. 

She was a dynamic individual with an infectious smile. Lisa could make people laugh easily, she never met a stranger. She loved to be the life of the party.  Lisa was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and a great friend. Her family meant the world to her especially her nephews Deno and Cash.

Lisa is survived by her parents Maurie and Debby Curtis; twin sister, Lawna ; brother Ronnie Curtis of Burlington, WA; sister Maureen Pritchard (Teddy) of Concrete, WA; grandmother Ruth Frigetto; grandfather Vernon Curtis of Mount Vernon, WA; nephews Stephen Jordan, Deno and Cash Scott; nieces Kayla Jordan, Riley and Maddy Pritchard, and Julia Curtis. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers’ Deno Frigetto and Fred Kessel, grandmothers’ Doris Kessel and Mary Curtis.

Though her life on Earth was cut short she touched many peoples’ lives. She will be forever remembered and always in our hearts. She had a strong belief in God and the afterlife and we know that her spirit will live forever in peace.

A remembrance and rosary will be held on Friday July 27, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Saturday July 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1855 St. Mary’s Drive, Montrose, Co. Interment to follow at Grand View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Dolphin House, in memory of Lisa Curtis236 South 3^rd Street, Montrose, Co. 81401.  Arrangments are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
