Johnnie Joe Bryan

MONTROSE — Johnnie Joe Bryan was called home to be with the Lord, March 30, 2011. He was born July 16, 1963, in Farmington, N.M. Johnnie graduated from Gunnison High School in 1981 and attended Western State College in communications and business. He currently owned and operated J & B Bags in Montrose. He was very active in ministering to friends and family and was an awesome witness to the love of Christ, which he shared with others. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Lucille Eggenberger; his paternal grandfather, Halla Bryan; and his father, Joe Bryan.
He is survived by his mother, Lanette Bryan, of Montrose; his sister and husband, Liesel and Roger Theesfeld, and his nephew, Joshua Theesfeld and three nieces, Mikalah, Ashley and Madyson Theesfeld of Arizona; his paternal grandmother, Pauline Bryan and great aunt, Frances Bryan, both of Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at the front entrance of Crippin Funeral Home on Main Street. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Olathe Cemetery in Olathe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ’s Kitchen Inc., in memory of Johnnie Bryan, P. O. Box 3013, Montrose, CO 81402.
