Elsie Louise Bradford

Elsie Louise Bradford, age 67, of Montrose, passed away July 10, 2012 at Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose. Elsie was born October 9, 1944 to Robert and Bertie (Lehman) Sutherland in North Battleford, Sask., Canada. She spent her childhood in Northern Alberta and graduated from high school in Dixonville, Alberta. Elsie married Craig Bradford on Dec. 31, 1976 in Kamloops, B.C. Elsie and Craig moved from Canada to Montrose, Colorado in 1994, and where they made their home until Elsie’s time of death. Elsie was a proud member of the Humane Society, and enjoyed Jazzercise and splash aerobics. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
Surviving family members include her husband, Craig of the family home in Montrose; son, Lance Bradford of Ashcroft B.C.; daughter, Linda Weise of Chilliwack, B.C.; brother, Rick Sutherland of Elkford, B.C.; sisters Leona Norn of Quesnel, B.C., Gail Boyer of Lloydminster, Sask., June Evans of Edmonton, Alberta, Jody Boyer of Lloydminster, Sask. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Shane Scott.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Elsie’s life will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. The Service will conclude at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
