OLATHE — Allan William Baldt III, age 33, of Olathe, passed away Jan. 13, 2011, at his residence in Olathe. Allan was born Nov. 23, 1977 in Fort Myers, Fla. to Allan William and Alena (Holloman) Baldt, Jr. Allan spent most of his childhood in the Fort Myers area, locating back and forth to Montrose, and graduating from Riverdale High School in Fort Myers, Fla. Allan had a love for sports, especially baseball and football; you could catch Allan a many a Sunday with his brother, Tom and friends watching his beloved San Francisco 49ers. If you did not find Allan, then he had to be out fishing. Allan always had his fishing pole with him. Allan's love for fishing began at an early age, fishing as much as he could after school and on the weekends. His passion for fishing continued into his adult years, bringing home dinner on many occasions. Allan was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Montrose.
Survivors include his wife, Aimee and his stepsons, Steven and Noah, all of Olathe; his beloved and treasured mother, Alena Holloman Baldt, also of Olathe. Allan is also survived by his brother, Tom (Kendra) Baldt of Montrose; two sisters, Nicole (Jody) Carter and Mandy Baldt, all of Olathe; and his grandmother, Marlow Holloman, also of Olathe. Allan is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Lacy, Brantlee, Quintin, Hannah, Gage, Peyton, Alyssa, Damian, Samantha and Loryn. Allan is preceded in death by his father, Allan William Baldt, Jr.
A memorial service, in loving memory of Allan, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at the Victory Baptist Church on North Townsend in Montrose. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO 81401 (970) 249-2121.
