James Alfred Ashley, age 51, of Montrose, Colo., passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 27, 2011 at his home, with his family at his side. Surviving family members include his mom, Jacqueline Mitchell; sisters, Kathleen Mitchell and Kim Ashley; his niece, Corrie Parenteau; and his pet and companion dog, Buddy. At James’ request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
