Galen H. Archer
Galen H. Archer, age 70, of Redvale, Colo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at his home. A Celebration of Galen’s life will be held on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the 4-H Pavilion at the fairgrounds in Norwood with Butch Priestley officiating. Surviving family members include his children; Leroy (Shelley) Archer of Nucla, Colo., Murray (Peggy) Archer of Redvale, Colo., Ivan (Nila) Archer of Dry Creek Basin, Colo., Hal (Sara) Archer of Boerne, Tex., Leah (Jason) Combs of Tyler, Tex., two step-children, David Campbell of Dry Creek Basin, Colo., Serena Campbell of Montrose, Colo; one brother, Harry Archer of Nucla, Colo; and two sisters, Thelma Archer of Redvale, Colo., and Leona Archer of Hayden, Colo. Burial will follow the service at Coventry Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
