Michael Roy Adams II

Michael Roy Adams II, age 29, of Grand Junction, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Delta County. Michael Roy Adams II, was born in Longview, Tex. He graduated from Montrose High School in 2001. Michael served his country in the United States Army, in the 82nd Airborne, stationed in Ft. Bragg, N.C. He served one tour in Afghanistan after his honorable discharge in Nov. 2004. He married Crystal Anne Charles on Mar. 24, 2005. Together they had a son, Kyden Michael Adams. They resided in Grand Junction, Colo. Michael worked at West Elk Mine and was a Certified Emergency Medical Technician.
Surviving family members include his beloved exwife, Crystal A. Adams; Son, Kyden M. Adams of Grand Junction, Colo; mother and stepfather, Cindy (Larry) Rowan of Montrose, Colo; father, Michael Roy Adams and sister, Stephanie L. Griffith both of Longview, Tex; grandparents, Sandra J. (Earnie) Gregory of Montrose, Colo; Charles E. (Barbra) Drown of Longview, Tex; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at 10:30am at Calvary Chapel in Montrose, with Pastor Ben Garate officiating. Burial will follow the service at Grand View Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colo.
